Regular use of the app to scan meter readings fosters a better understanding of household energy patterns. Additionally, the app functions as a tool for capturing meter readings during tariff changes or when proof of consumption is required for other purposes.

The pixometer app supports various meter types, including mechanical counters (single and dual tariff) and digital LCD displays. If automatic image capture does not activate during scanning, users can manually tap the capture button to take a photo and enter the reading.
